Password Issues

  • Why am I seeing an error message when I try to sign in?
  • If you are seeing: The phone number you entered does not match an existing account. Please check the number and try again, then you may not have registered yet for AT&T FamilyMap. Click here to register.

    If you are seeing: The password you entered does not match the stored password for that account. Please try again, then you may have set up an account to log in at http://familymap.att.com, but haven't chosen a Parent phone number and password to log into AT&T FamilyMap. To do this, you should go through http://familymap.att.com registration.

    If you have already registered and have your password written down, please check to make sure that you are entering it correctly. Passwords are case sensitive, so make sure that Caps Lock is not on and that you are using the correct capitalization.

    If you are still unable to log in, click here to create a new password.

  • Why is forgot password not working?
  • After you navigate to http://familymap.att.com and click Forgot your password, two emails should be sent to you. The first email asks you to click a link to reset your password and the second contains your new password. If you do not receive either email within 30 minutes of the time that you request it, your email provider has most likely blocked the automated message. In this case, please contact AT&T Contact Customer Care at 1-800-331-0500 for help resetting your password.

  • How do I change my password?
  • If you are able to sign in to your AT&T FamilyMap account:

    • Sign into your account.
    • Click Manage Account in the upper right.
    • On the Manage Account page, under My Account click the Change Password link and follow the instructions.

    If you are not able to sign in to your AT&T FamilyMap account:

    • Click the Forgot your password link, found directly under the Sign In button on the AT&T FamilyMap sign in page.
    • Follow the instructions to get a temporary password.
    • Use the temporary password to sign into your account.
    • Once signed in, click Manage Account in the upper right.
    • On the Manage Account page, under My Account click the Change Password link and follow the instructions.
  • Why can't I sign in on my mobile phone?
  • You may not be going to the mobile phone URL. To access AT&T FamilyMap from your mobile phone, go to http://familymap.att.com.

    If you are able to load the mobile website on your phone, but your AT&T FamilyMap credentials are not working, make sure that you are typing in the correct phone number and password. Are you able to log into AT&T FamilyMap from your computer? If so, it is likely that the password has been incorrectly entered on your phone.
